Yes, Social Media is a Real Job.

I recently have been asked by multiple people if I'm going to start looking for a "real job" now that I have my degree in Social Media Marketing. Having worked in the marketing industry for almost 10 years, it's no secret that social media is on the rise and why would I not want to be a leader in that industry. Running my own social media marketing company allows me the opportunity to be on top of the latest trends, chase new ideas, and most importantly - to not be confined to a corporate box. I've worked in corporate companies, learned a lot, but I would never want to be a "follower" again.

I absolutely LOVE making decisions, learning life lessons, and being responsible for other people's success. This is why I chose to start Dashing Creative in 2018. I need the opportunity to grow in order to be fulfilled in my business and know I'm doing the right thing by running my own show. I wake up every day with excitement to face my day's challenges in my own time. I am blessed with the privilege to create my own schedule, make my own decisions, and face the consequences of my own mistakes.

I've had the opportunity to work with so many different clients, and enjoy the things I've learned with each of them. When my clients ask how they can grow their business, my answer is always to increase your social media presence through frequent (regular) posts, and social media ads. Being active on your social media business accounts is so important to the success and growth of your business.

I never want to lose the connection that I maintain with my clients, and no matter how Dashing Creative grows in the future, I will continue to thrive in the small business environment that I love so much!
